www.pioneerelectronics.com I have a Pioneer Elite Pro-100 rear projection television that is 6 years old. In November of 2004 it just stopped working. I paid an authorized dealer $624.34 to fix it. They have been out 4 times to replace the power supply and it still doesn't function properly. The last time they were out, the new power supply was dead out of the box!

 

The dealer told me he is losing money on my problem, and doesn't want to pursue it. He tells me that I should contact Pioneer and try to get them to support their product, because they don't listen to him. When I call Pioneer, the representatives act as if my situation is normal and acceptable. Their attitude is somewhere between disinterested and rude. I have had a very aggravating and frustrating experience with Pioneer, and I hope I can prevent others from having to go through the same thing. I strongly advise anyone in the market for a television, to stay away from Pioneer products.
