I purchased a Toshiba Laptop Computer and made the mistake of purchasing Circuit City's extended warranty. Had a problem with the USB Port and had to mail the computer to their extended service provider who told me the problem wasn't covered and returned the computer to me.

When I got it back it didn't work at all as when they investigated the problem they did something to the keyboard. It cost me personally $300 to get it fixed and they never would admit to the damage they did. However, when I sent it to them it worked and only had one bad USB port, when it was returned it didn't work at all. I will never buy anything from Circuit City again.
