Subject: DONT USE EXPEDIA.....EVER

I just need to let someone out there know how bad of a company Expedia is!!!!! My poor family made the unfortunte error( which we will never do again) of booking thier airfare through expedia. Over the course of four months Expedia has run them through the ringer. I have sent several emails to Expedia indicating our situation, and have gotten NO response. The first time We recieved a email from expedia stating that urgent flight changes have been made.

 

Dont get me wrong I know that Expedia is a middleman and that they dont make the actual changes, the airline does but NO ONE at expedia is profressional. Over the many emails that we recieved indicating changes we have been given the run around. The first time my mother called expedia she was on the phone for over an hour. I adventually took the phone from her and DEMANDED a supervisor. I was told they were busy. I told this girl that ther were 6 people who furious, and that if something wasnt done, these six people would tell six more people and ect ect. and low behold this woman responded with "that wont hurt my job" dont get me wrong, I not nice when it comes to ignorant people who dont know how to complete thier job.

 

Meanwhile Im still on hold waiting for the supervisor. I adventually got to a DRACO after waiting an HOUR AND A HALF.. for a supervisor what kind of customer service is that??? not the type that anyone I know will work with. Any way Draco helped me out and told me that I would recieve an email with the changes and a fifty dollar credit....hmmmm never got either of those thanks Draco. My mom who the poor thing has high blood pressure has to call expedia at least 6 times and stayed on the phone each time for upto FOUR HOURS. Any way, with all the talking to people we finally got it straight and my family flew off for thier cruise. oh i almost not before have a EIGHT HOUR layover in Philly, after scheduling a half hour layover and did forget to metion thier luggage was lost as well. Any they did get thier and I hope are having a great time.

 

Meanwhile I am at home sick as a dog, and get a phone call from none other than EXPEDIA asking for my mom. Well if they knew how to look at reservations would know that she is on vacation. I talked to a SHeila, and I have to admit I wasnt nice at all. She informed me that since no one contacted Expedia on the 15-16, which we did both dates. Thier flight home is null and void. I went ahead and checked my mothers email and needless to say there was an email from the 22 saying that changes had been made. How do they expect someone who is in the middle of the ocean on a cruise to know that this had been changed. I dont know about you, but email is the last thing I would want to think about on my vacation. She told me that regardless they have no flight now.

 

I asked to speak with her supervisisor, and she told me that they couldnt help me. I told her I didnt care and that I was going to speak with her supervisior and no one else. She got SW airlines on the phone. Not what I asked for. Than when I told her that she needs to learn how to listen when someone askes for somthing she just went ahead and hit the transfer button. I have so many complaints about this comapny that it hurts my fingers to even write this email. Over the months I my mother and my aunt have spooken with Draco, lenor, scarlette, aurora, sheila, flo, abagail, carl, syrus and others who I dont remember and all of them did NOTHING!!!!

 

I have to tell you I do expect to hear from someone and if not There will be HELL to pay. From: meaghan l
