2001 GMC Jimmy:

 

I have just spoken with Pat Alarcon at GMC customer service regarding the replacement of the transmission that broke in my 2001 GMC Jimmy at 52000 miles. At this point GMC is not going to do anything to help us financially with this broken transmission.

 

This vehicle is unreliable!! Before 52,000 I have had to replace ball joints, a wheel bearing and now a transmission. Can you honestly say that you would want to have this vehicle for your vehicle? How many of you GMC customer service people would like to buy this vehicle from me?

 

How would you feel if this vehicle was yours? How many of you actually have GMC vehicles? I purchased a GMC Jimmy because I wanted a reliable vehicle because I live in Maine. I am now totally dissatisfied with GMC products. My husband and I discussed, last evening, about trading the 2001 GMC Jimmy in for a new GMC pickup truck this weekend, but because I will now be paying $2500.00 to repair the broken transmission on this 2001 GMC Jimmy I will NOT purchase another GMC product. I will continue to express my dissatisfaction with GMC, with anyone that I speak with, in hopes that they take into consideration when purchasing a vehicle for themselves the unreliablility of your vehicles.
