Weston Volvo Daive, FL Weston Volvo Daive, FL
I am currently leasing a Volvo XC90 which I purchased at Weston Volvo in Davie, FL. I have had nothing but problems with the car since the first month I had it, and have been unable to get anywhere with either the dealership or Volvo headquarters.
I have tried to contact the general manager of Weston Volvo a number of times, but he has refused to answer my calls, letters or meet with me personally. I have had my car at the service department at least once a month the last two years, and every time I try to make a complaint the problem is blamed on someone else. I have written several letters to Volvo Headquarters in New Jersey, but the only response Ive gotten is that theyre sorry for the problems Im having, but the dealers are individually owned. I am amazed that Bill Costano, the general manger of Weston Volvo will not take the time to review my complaints and to try to correct the problem. I am told that there is nobody above him that can help me, so who do I go to? This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience, especially with a car that is supposed to have such a solid reputation. I need to find out what my options are to get this problem resolved. Thank you. The turbo is gone, and they refuse to fix it under warranty, claiming lack of maintenance on my part. First they asked me for the records of oil changes, after I provided them, now they say that since they were not done at the dealer, and not computer generated, they are not valid. I've contacted Volvo customer service, and encountered a very rude woman who basically called a liar, saying that they only deal with valid, and legitimate customer complaints. I've been through service manager Mr. Mariner who seems to want to help, but then again I don't trust any of them anymore. Spoke to GM Mr. Alarcon, who says it's up to Volvo of North America. I've even had a salesman tell me that if I lease a new xc90 I would not have to worry about the repairs of the old one. I used to like my Volvo, but I'll never get one again, and I will definitely never have anything to do with Weston Volvo, and will do everything in my power to make sure thousands of people hear about these Weston Volvo stories, and lack of customer service. Vicky, have you taken the time to sit down with our service manager? His office is RIGHT behind the service writers and his door is always open. Have you spoken with the General Sales Manager of the Volvo division? His office is in the middle of the Volvo showroom, it's open and you can speak with him any time. both of these people are dedicated to working to satisfy you. My sales and service experiences at Weston Volvo have been great and it bothers me the way you mischaracterize the hard working, honest people at this business. You're clearly on a smear campaign and are not providing accurate info to the readers of this web site. I happen to know that Volvo (the factory) is absolutely one of the most consumer-friendly car companies out there. If you were "unable to get anywhere" with "Volvo headquarters," that tells me your so-called "problems" with your Volvo were bogus, otherwise Volvo or Weston Volvo would have provided you with fair relief. I know . . . I've been there with them myself and have been treated fairly. In addition, do you expect anyone to believe you've been to Weston Volvo's service department "at least once a month the last two years"??? 24 service visits!! C'mon, who are you trying to kid. Your posting is clearly a bogus attempt to bad mouth a good business in our community. They will NEVER help you. They are the most unprofessional dealer I have ever dealt with. None of their managers help you. They always treat me like trash when I go there. I love my volvo, I love its safety, but I hate the idiots that work at this dealership. About someone hearing your complaints, good luck, no one ever heard mine. If you know a lawyer that is willing to help you out on this, I would do that. In the meantime, don't EVER go back there. Like I said, I love my volvo, but I am switching cars now because I don't want to deal with those idiots anymore. Good Luck and believe me I feel your pain.
