August 29, 2005 Below facts are based on actual consumer experience with Chase Card Services which is part of Chase Bank.

Beware of store charge cards that are actually issued by Chase such as Circuit City & many others. Reasons:

1. Call center CS gives contradictory information.

2. Call centers order full credit inquiry after account is closed by consumer without consumer authorization.

3. Chase fails to report accounts closed despite many requests.

4. Call center persons are unaccountable, incompetent & rude.

5. Chase issues wrong credit card after approval & cannot fix the problem.

6. Credit reporting by Chase Card Services is often wrong & it takes months to get corrected.

7. Beware of other Bank cards such as First USA & Bank One that have been bought out by Chase & suffering from systems issues.
