HI,

 

I ordered 5 boxes of 10 DVDs (Maxell) from Futureshop on July 19th (order #43744301 ). They arrived at destination in the original manufacturer box, with no extra protection whatsoever. Hence, 34 out of 50 DVD jewel boxes were broken.

I called Futureshop.ca Customer Support on July 22nd to report the problem and to ask for a replacement solution.

It might seem hard to believe, but as of today I have like 10 emails from Futureshop promising a reply "within 24-48 hours". Needless to say, it's an automated response given by someone who does not even bother reading the content of the complaint.

How else could they explain the fact that they keep responding to my demand for a Customer Complaints Dept phone # with their generic 1-800 number?

 

I have never been treated so bad by a merchant who is not a shady basement business. Total lack of customer skills and care.
