The nature of wireless is such that we cannot guarantee service in all areas. However, we have contacted the customer and, as a gesture of good customer service, have offered to reduce his cost of termination of service based on the number of months remaining in his service agreement. The customer has accepted this offer and indicated that this resolution meets with his satisfaction. Sincerely,

Julie P

My complaint is with Centennial Wireless and their poor service. My job requires me to travel within the confins of Cass County Michigan which in turn results in terrible signal reception, and dropped and missed calls. When south of the Michigan/Indiana state line, service is fine.

I've called and registered complaints, but haven't seen an improvemet in service. I do realize that Cass County is a rural area without the higher concentration of cell towers as in the higher populated areas of northern Indiana, but when the contract was signed, I was assured that signal reception wouldn't be a problem. Some of the worst areas of reception include but are not limited to the Dowagiac area, the eastern portions of Cass County close to the Cory Lake area where my phone goes into roaming mode, and in the s.e central part of the county where communication over the Centennial Network is next to impossible.

My experience with Centennial isn't isolated. Other fellow employees who've previously been Centennial customers have blamed poor service as their reason for switching providers. They, like me, don't mind paying for a service that works. When that fails, we the customer feel that the provider isn't living up to their end of the contract. As stated earlier, I realize that Cass County is a rural area, but the customer should be informed of possible spotty service prior to their signing of a contract.

I would glady cancel my agreement with Centennial, but was told by their service represenative that it would cost $500 per phone (yes that's $500, not $50) to do so. That in its self is ridiculous.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Robert
