Hi,first let me start off by saying that I am satisfied with cingular,except for the roaming charges.We bought the plan with free roaming charges but they keep appearing on my bill.They have been credited in the past,but I received more and customer service is not willing to give me credit.I am told that it is picking up from another tower,I can understand that,but this is not our fault,my husband and I talk their all the time,their saying he works off shore and he does not he works on land in Berwick La,which is next to Morgan City,Louisiana, about 2 miles away.It is not fair to us,cause we have no way of knowing if were talking on another tower or not,yes they did make me aware but I was also told that all I have to do is call customer service and it would be taken care of.I can't afford these extra charges,we live on a fixed income here.Believe me if we knew we were talking on another tower we would not use our phones.
I don't think I am being unreasonable here,we were told when we bought this plan we'd have no roaming fees,and that is what we expected,we were not told anything about talking off another tower stuff.We have no way of knowing what tower were talking on,that is not fair to us.
I am asking for these charges to be taken off my bill,as soon as possibe,so I can go on and pay my bill.If I have to I will switch to another company,I don't want to do that,but I can't afford these extra charges.I have spent many hours trying to correct this problem for it not to happen again,but nothing is being done.
