USAirways debochery USAirways debochery August 15, 2005 My girlfriend was scheduled to fly from Philadelphia to Nashville on 8\5\05 at 8:00pm. She received an automated phone call from USAir stating that the flight was delayed 90 minutes. A few minutes later, she received another automated call stating that it was now delayed 125 minutes. She arrived at the airport accordingly only to find out that they re-instated the original flight time and that she had missed the flight. That was the last flight of the night to Nashville, and she was booked for the next morning. And the point of the automated calls is? Couldn't they have called again to state that the original time was re-instated? Actually, I'd rather not be called at ALL if they're going to be that incompetent!
