Motorcycle Parts Retailer

August 15, 2005 DGY.COM (DGY MOTORSPORTS)

644 Blackhawk Drive

Westmont, IL 60559-1116

I've had two negative experiences, both the same thing.

I ordered a part and paid by credit card. The employee who entered my order forgot to include the apartment number I had provived along with the rest of my shipping address, though he read the order back correctly after I placed the order..

After waiting 3 weeks to allow more than enough time for my order to be processed and shipped, I contacted the company, on August 15, 2005.

After I asked by phone to speak with the parts manager, I was transfered to two other people in succession, who both admitted they were not managers, after I pressed the point. They were unwilling to connect me with ANY manager, or to offer any suggestions or alternatives to speaking with a manager. All stated the problem was not thier fault, without having even yet researched my order!

Later, an email I sent to their customer care dept., explaining all the details and demanding resolution, was responded to by phone, by apparently the customer care manager, "JEFF."

"Jeff" admitted that the shipping address error was due to the missing info having been "trunked," a data entry or computer issue, that is not my fault.

He offered no apology, no resolution whatsoever (I indicated in the email I wanted the order shipped by 2 day air and all charges reversed on the credit card, after experiencing horrid service on two occaisions and pathetic customer service on this most recent order, but I was willing to hear any compromise offer, none was offered). His only offer was to re-ship the order as it stood, after it arrived back at thier location, because UPS had returned it.

When I mentioned that simply re-shipping the order was not an acceptable Customer Service rersolution, he sarcasticly stated they would just cancel my order, then.

When I replied, calmly and politeley, that he'd be seeing thier company name often on the motorcycle forum websites I frequent, to warn others of my bad experiences, he became verbally abusive, yelling, so I hung-up on him.

Thanks for your time.
