I paid $500 for a lifetime membership for Sirius radio only to find out if my tuner brakes out of warranty then my lifetime membership is void!!! How can you use the word lifetime if they can void your membership in 1 years time if your unit breaks or you lose it? They say the only condition where you could replace your tuner is if stolen with a police report. Before I joined I clearly asked if I could change tuners and was told I could!!!! Bad deal and bad business practice.

yes, it is now a semi-lifetime membership. You can change your tuner 3 times for $75 each time and after that you lifetime membership is void. Strange that twice when I called in to reset my unit they billed me $500 each time I called in. After calling them they refunded the $500 and both times said it was a mistake. I guess they don't learn from their mistakes as they made the same mistake twice.
