Walmart Photo Lab Walmart Photo Lab August 14, 2005 This complaint is about the photo lab at Walmarts Pocono mountain store Poconos, PA. I had twice been to the photo lab and requested single prints with an instruction to take their time on it since I wasn't going to wait around an hour for the photo,s. Both times it was written clearly that I wanted single pics and no rush service.
Both times I sent someone down to pick them up and received doubles and charges for them and one hour service. I went there again today and asked them if they could please make sure that I get singles because that's not what happened the two times before. The person behind the desk said to me that I am responsible for any mistakes and should report it when the pictures are handed over.
I stated that it was written clear both times and that I didn't pick them up. I sent someone to get them. I also said that a mistake made once is a mistake twice is a scam. He was not happy with my remark but wouldn't answer to it. Its a sad world when we have to look around every corner for a scam when doing business with well known companies who brag about there reputation and consideration to their customers. If the customer would like the One Hour Service, they step up to the counter and inform the employee of this. The clerk then fills out the envelope using the customer's information and circles the appropriate "singles" or "doubles" . If however, the customer would rather use the 2-3 day send away service, it is the customer's responsibility to go to the send away drop box and FILL OUT THE ENVELOPE THEMSELVES. Other than those two services, I don't believe Walmart offers a cheaper "overnight" service. I have never had a problem with their service.
