I have had Alltel for a year. In about April of 2005 I was in Jacksonville, FL trying to make calls on my Alltel phone. I didn't know who to complain to about dropped calls until I came back to my home state, Virgiinia. I finally came back home to Virginia and when I was able to, I went to Alltel & told them of my problems.

The agent there looked up my number & the city I was calling from. When he looked up my home address, he basically told me my problem was that where I live, there is very bad reception; I distinctly got the feeling that my dropped calls were basically my fault, not Alltel's. This is contrary to what is being advertised throughout the country. I had at least 20+ calls that were dropped.

What should I do. My contract with Alltell does not expire until November of next year. You can bet your bottom dollar that I'll most certainly discontinue my Alltel service as soon as I am able to.

Just sign me Disgruntled Alltel customer.
