UPS UPS August 14, 2005 Once again, another UPS screw up. Over the last year UPS has at least been consistant with their dismal service. So far at least five packages have been delayed reaching me. The one time I managed to get any kind of excuse from them, they said a "new guy" had put the package on the wrong truck. All of the other times, I got a " we're sorry and we'll try to do better". Every time anything is shipped to me by UPS, it gets delayed again and again. The latest delivery (I'm still waiting on it) has been 5 days so far and the new delivery date is still 3 days from now. This on a package shipped from California to Tennessee. Just for comparison, a package shipped to me from Tokyo, Japan via the postal service the day before the UPS package left California arrived the day before yesterday. It is no wonder that FedEx and DHL are taking more and more UPS customers away every day.
