Sprint PCS

In sep. of 2004 I changed my eqipment with Sprint PCS, in doing so considering the new phone had the camera, I thought that I would finally opted for the eqipment insurance for an extra $5.00 per month. Been a cell phone customer of various service providers for a consistant 20 years so have pretty much seen and heard it all in regards to cell companies, service and equipment. When I told customer(I don't care!) care about the phone change and that I would like to have the additional insurance, the woman that I spoke with said fine but also kept trying to sell me rd. side assistance. I assured her that considering that I am a used car dealer who is an ASC certified Mech. for over 25yrs. and that I had practically 100 cars and trucks and that I had my own car hauler and car trailer that I would most certainly NOT NEED road side assistance. OK , we finished our conversation with the new phone being placed on my account and equipment insurrance ordered.

In Feb. of 2005 I had been loking over 1 of my statements from sprintpcs and noticed they had been charging me for rd side assistance since sep. of 2004. I did'nt notice this before do to the fact that rd.side ass. is the same price as the insurance. I called customer(I don't care)care imdediatly and brought this to their attention and ask at that time if a supervisor in that department could please contact me in regards to this, no one ever has even attempted to do so and it is Aug 13th 2005 as I write this complaint. As luck would have it, approx. 3 and a half weeks later, I live on a lake and I was down by the dock and bent over to look at something, the phone being as small as they are , I had slipped it into my shirt pocket and forgot about it until it hit the water. I managed to grab it in the water before it went out of site.I imediatly pulled the battery and let it natually air dry in a good location to promote just that. When I felt that it was dry as it was going to get ,I replaced the bat. and turned it on. Well needless to say, it was,nt the aquadic model. It did some pretty strange stufff. I called customer care and told them what had happened and that I would like to use my insurance, they gave me a number to call . I called and reported my claim to a man. a couple of days later, I recieved an email stating that my claim for my phone insurance had been denied because the policy was less than 30 days old! Plus there was a $50.00 Deductable that knowone even mentioined when they sold me the insurance, both times! I have emailed customer care 3 times in regards to this and their Snydly Wiplash billing practices where as they turn your phone off the day before you recieve your bill and all for going $3.00 over a $125.00 spending limit! They do this after I have been with them for how many years!? No One has ever attempted to contact me by phone, by mail, by email, absolutly nothing. The phone barly works and the service is so poor anyway at my home, that it barly worked before. My daughter has a cingular phone that recieves 3-4 bars of service inside our house anywhere she is ! Ah! The Power of a Tower!

If you virtually hate someone, recomend that they get a Sprint PCS phone and Service Plan because They Really give You The Service alright but not quite what you thought you would recieve or want unless it was for that special indivigual that I mentioned in the beginning of this paragraph.
