I got a Tata IndicomWalky wireless landline connection in my wife’s name in Dec. 2004 (Tel. no.: 01155286sss, a/c no. 20238ssssss). In July, due to their delay in processing my bill by credit card, they disconnected my phone. Due to this action, I submitted their instrument and asked for cancellation. I also demanded my initial deposit which they had taken as activation fee (which was non-refundable), as my cancellation was entirely due to their fault. All their executives who called up, didn’t know why I had cancelled, but did inform me that my amount was non-refundable. No one tried to find a solution or patch up.

This is the attitude of a very reputed private telephone company in India. They just do not know how to treat or retain their customers. They are just interested in getting new customers, retaining of satisfying a customer is not on their agenda. Sincerely,
