American Hardwood Flooring USA / Las Vegas and Altanta Georgia

On 2/9 I ordered 2340 in hardwood flooring from this company. I was concerned before I ordered that the address on the site was a Georgia address with no street or post office box yet where they wanted me to fax my order and pay the money was in Las Vegas. The lady that answered the phone assured me that they were a reliable thriving business and not to worry. She stated that the reason they did this was they were an international business and it was easier to do it from Nevada. All the signs were there and my intentions told me to walk away. I didnt. I sent them the money and about 1 month later checked on their trace delivery to find that my order didnt exist.

I just thought well it's not been to long. So I kept checking and when I didnt see it I got concerned. I tried emailing, and calling and got little or no response. I finally searched the ripoffreport.com and found all kinds of complaints. I was so upset. One of the complaints suggested that we go to our banks. I did and was surprised that because it was an electronic transfer they could unauthorize the expenditure and get my money back. It took 2 weeks but they did and I turned around and bought locally. The bank also blocked this company from taking any money out of my account. I so appreciate them because I thought the money was lost. I went to their website andn saw that it had been taken down. But there was the designer's phone number there.

I called it and talk to a gentlement at adamsavenuedesigns.com and he told me that it was a business how honest it was he questioned. Though they did pay him. I asked who paid him and he said a Kathleen Johnson but then added he didnt think that was her name. Hum and I didnt even ask. He knows more than he told me. I have filed complaints with the Attorney General's office in CA, GA and NV and the FTC. I hope others do also. If you file with Ripoffreport.com and someone gets an attorney, the ripoffreport.com folks will give the attorney all the reports and names and contact information for everyone that has filed a complaint. The gal from Chicago sounded like she might and I hope she does. I am not sure but there is a case in NY state vs the Coles that sounds very similar to this. Any of you can contact me.
