For those of you that do not understand what you are looking at its very important that if you are a home owner you will need a new roof one day. What you are looking at is the roof before, doing , and after it was completed. Over a half a dozen Mexicans were on my roof laying new material. None of then were able to communicate with me because none of them understood English. I called the office several times and was told by the General manager Mike that the roof was in perfect condition and it was completed. I was told that I did not have a vent on my AC/H eating unit. As you can see by the first photos before they tore it up it was there. You can also see my 65 Red Terracotta ridge caps were still on the roof and are now missing.

Ridge caps are the very top of you roof. The hump on the very top was once where a large vent was and had to be taken down and hauled off. (Its still in my yard) There was a second set of ridge caps on top of the red ones. They are brown and were to be put back on my roof. (MANY ARE BROKEN AND CHIPPED) I requested Plywood and was told that Plywood was not any good and that He, Greg Landrieu the owner was going to put something better up at $25.00 a sheet. I was not at home doing the replacement of the decking and a cheap material Pressed Board was used. Retail price to the public is $12.88 a sheet. Wholesale to contractors is about $8.00 a sheet. I was told that I had to pay an additional fee of $3000.00 for the decking.

That was on top of the $4200.00 that I had already paid. The additional money was added on after I showed him the roof over the double car garage that was leaking after 7 years. (Photos are numbered 7492 through 7498). The garage has yet to be repaired. The second hump that you can't make out in the photo is being caused by pieces of slate from the old roof caught between the old decking and the new decking. ( photos numbered 7411-7419 and 7500-7514) It was shown to Mr. Landrieu and HE told me that he did not see anything. The photos 7515 and 7516 are of the best decking there is according to Mr. Landrieu. There is no flashing under the material only a drip edge above the Gutters that was my problem from the start. As you can see the siding hanging in 7402 and 7462 respectively.

The vent I was told that was never there as you can see in photo # 7484 was replaced with another vent in # 7484. 7486 to 7490 shows that there are no nails holding the edge of the drip edge. # 7483 where I was having a serious leak is still there because a valley was not placed in between the connecting roofs and the flashing does not come close to the gutter. A cheap 5.00 open valley could have been used. Over 2500 16 Penny nails as you can see in 7507, 7510, 7512. The actual length you can see in photos 7517 and 7518 were used in the half inch decking. I can no longer go in my attic without the fear of putting a 2 to 3 inch hole in my head. In # 7413 there are no nails. I was advised that nails are never put in the rafter and only nailed to the old decking.

I guess most of you are wondering if I know so much about construction why I did not do it myself. The reason being is that I am not very healthy and Being uptown I wanted a professional to do it to add value to my home. I really did not think that it would end up this way. I am asking each and everyone of you if you are still a loving friend to pass this on to each and everyone you know. I know I am opening up a can of worms dealing with the infamous Landrieu family so if anything should happen to me you know where to start looking. I have nothing against cheap labor nor do I have a problem with Mexicans. I feel that the Border is the same thing as the Great Wall and should be torn down. Please click on below.

Protect yourselves, please advertise my Roof for me. I was given an extra $100.00 off to advertise for Landrieu of Metairie and New Orleans, Louisiana. Write me and I will gladly give you my address.

I would never recommend Landrieu Brothers for anything in future. They are unreliable, dishonest, and basically lie about everything. They are in violation of EPA regulations for disposal of asbestos and could care less how they treat people. Kenny Landrieu is a touchy feeling creep who pressures you into signing a contract before you can check up on them. I actually had to have him told to not contact me again, he gave me the willies. Tim, their supervisor is a sociopath who wouldn't know an honest word if it smacked him. crews of non-english speaking people would show up out of the blue and be gone before you knew it. they damaged my home, my fish tanks outside, cut my phone lines and left nails everywhere. DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE, THERE ARE BETTER ONES OUT THERE.
