2003 Nissan Maxima GLE

I bought a new 2003 Nissan Maxima GLE in March 2003. I am 55years old and this was my first new car! I bought it from Rick case in Weston, FL, Broward County. According to what I have since learned, Nissan dealers knew about the headlight situation then. Of course I was not told! I should consider myself lucky that I had the car almost two years before the headlights were stolen the night of February 21, 2005.

I paid my $500.00 deductible and was told by the receptionist at Maroone Nissan where I took it for the repair, that she got rid of her 03 and got an 04 because they come in everyday like mine. They have a customer in for the third time!! I was advised to buy an after market active alarm as the only deterrent known. So I spent another $385.00 for that.

On April 19, 2005 as the alarm was blasting, the lights were stolen again within 60 seconds..couldn't even get outside fast enough. I am without my car again and another $500.00 deuctible! The first time the bill was $2000.00. I don't even know this time what it will be! There was considerable damage to the hood. Each time I do not even rent a car because I can't afford the rental insurance too!!!!

It is usually about ten days!!! I will not drive that car anywhere when I get it back except directly to a Toyota dealership to trade it for a Camry. Nissan is responsible for us being unable to keep their Maximas. Because of this, I would never buy another Nissan. I might add "pain and suffering"

expenses as I have become so anxious, I had to see a doctor and be given a prescription!!!
