To Whom It May Concern: I would appreciate assistance with a matter that has caused numerous phone calls and unsuccessful attempts to receive an answer on a delivery date for a Sofa/Chaise I purchased in November 2004. November 27, 2004, I purchased the Dante Collection - Sofa/Chaise, Arm Chair and Love Seat in the Bordeaux color from your Oxnard, California Store. Elena Delara, Sales Associate assisted me with my transaction. All 3 items were paid in full totaling $2,425.59. January 21, the 3 items I ordered were delivered to my residence; however, I refused the Sofa/Chaise because it was the broccoli color. Clearly the WRONG color I ordered. The delivery drivers took the Sofa/Chaise and informed me the correct color would be ordered. February 5, 2005, I visited the Oxnard store and spoke with Elena Delara to find the status on my Sofa/Chaise. Elena was unable to locate the status of my order for the Sofa/Chaise; the order was never placed as promised, and Elena entered it into the system at such time. I was told my Sofa/Chaise would be delivered within 6 weeks. To date, I have called the customer service number, the Oxnard store, left voicemail messages to Mike Stawecki and Dora Richardson and have never received a return phone call. The status on the Sofa/Chaise on your website indicates it will be delivered December of 2049! I'm told that is not the actual deliver date, "a date for special orders." I believe 5 months of waiting for my Sofa/Chaise is unacceptable! Levitz has held my $900.44 for too long! I cannot believe how unprofessional and inconsiderate EVERY representative I have spoke to is regarding my situation. I cannot get a definitive answer on when my items will be delivered or I get a complete run-around. At this time, I am prepared to contact every organization and legal counsel available to consumers to resolve this matter immediately. I have been treated unfairly and quite rudely. This has completely wasted my valuable time, not to mention interest I could have earned on $900! I will never order another product from Levitz again, and I will make sure everyone that comes into contact with me knows of this situation. I would appreciate it if someone in your organization would look into my matter and contact me immediately. Regards, Dee Dee
