America online sucks!!!!

I would like to complain about america online. My husband last year had tried the 30 day trial and after it was over we paid for two months to see if we were happy with the service. When the two months was up we cancelled and went with another internet provider who was cheaper and better. I get a collection agency calling me and telling me that I owe america online $131 which I dont because I paid for the two months. What happened was they never called to cancel like we asked them two and even though we had not had america online but another internet provider we were still being charged money for service we didnt have. When I called to complain all I got was someone in India and Africa. I asked them for an american to speak with and they said I would have to keep calling same number until I could get an american operator.

I did that for 3 hours straight and all I kept getting was India and Africa. They said there was no number for United States. Than I tried again and got someone from Texas and she hung up on me, than again got someone from Florida he hung up on me and I called back again and I got someone speaking with an India accent and when I asked him where he was located he said USA I said what part he said I cant tell you that. Why not? I have the right! He kept telling me he was from USA and I asked to speak to his supervisor and he did and he too was from India.

America Online is the worst damn internet service I have ever had. After 3 hours of this I got someone again from India and he said I was being recorded I said fine I too am recording you and he said I am hanging up you cannot record me I said why not your recording me. What it is is AOL saving their asses but yet customers cant save theirs. It is complete bullshit!!!!! Why is it called America Online??? Keyword AMERICA!! It is not called Africa Online or India Online so how come you can never reach an American. Aol is nothing but a scam and ripoff artists. The worst customer service and I will be damned if they will charge me for their mistake after I said cancel my service. Something has got to get done..and believe I wont stop till it does.
