CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! If this refridgerator is any indication of other similar products WATCH OUT! To start off with service is horrible. I live in Northeast Texas ( near Paris, Texas-hint! hint! ) This thing has a 12 volt light in the dispensor and it burns out about every month.

Try to buy a replacement bulb! The GE local service company in Paris ( hint! hint!) wanted to sell me a bulb for $3.55. Its the size of 5 watt night light bulb ( 4 pack of these at Dollar General- $1.00). I ended up buying a 12 pack of these bulbs over the internet to save money.

I've since stopped changing them out! Next is, the door seal on the freezer leaks along with the water, ice dispensor. Now the condensor fan makes a noise ( probably the fan hitting ice or something. This thing is the pits! It makes noise all the time when the unit is running.

I won't buy GE anymore. But be careful! Several name brands are the same in manufacture. Whirlpool ,GE, and JC Penney for instance.
