Dear Sirs: Thank you for your help in this matter. I posted this complaint a month ago on several websites and registered a complaint with the BBB. These complaints spurred the company to return and complete their work. While I still think that they could have done a better job overall and that they should not have dragged this process out six months by fighting us every step of the way, they have now tried to correct their mistakes. Please remove my complaint, or at least add the notation that the company responded to the complaint and corrected their mistakes as best they could. Thank you, Stuart R

Blue Haven Pools on the Gulf

It took them five months to finish installing the pool, they said it took 6 weeks when we signed the paperwork. They had to tear up the deck and repour it twice. They had to relevel the pool because it was not level to begin with. They damaged the fiberglass pool when they redid the deck. They threw bricks and concrete into the pool. They did some half-hearted repairs on a couple of gouges, but did not even attempt to restore the pool to new condition. They have not conducted a "pool school" to show us how to use the equipment. They never supplied a solar blanket which they promised to give us. They took my shovel that I had let them use. They got concrete on our driveway, house, and porch and have not gotten it all off. They drove backhoes up and down my driveway, damaging it, even after I asked them to put something down so the treads did not gouge it. The lip around the pool has some uneven spots that need addressing. They now say they are not going to install the faux brick finish they promised. Originally, we paid for brick and tile, but after several unsuccessful tries, they said they would refund our money if we would accept a bullnose and faux brick. Also, there are chunks of concrete and tiles in our yard and in the vacant lot across the street. All in all, I would not recommend them to an enemy.
