I have received two matches in 9 months. The first did not want to meet with me and the second was no-where near my specifications. This date also informed me she paid $49 for the same service I did. I was heavily pressured and manipulated into signing.

Many calls have resulted in "Just wait a little longer" and several e-mails have gone unanswered. I want a refund. Thanks for your time.

THEY ARE A RIP OFF!

I highly recommend that you do NOT use the Together or The Right One dating services, or any dating service that charges you more than a few hundred dollars. Most of them meet with you and use mind techniques, pressure tactics, quote misleading statistics and basically guarantee you nothing. They prey on peoples weaknesses and negative unsuccessful past. They will take your money and offer you no refunds whatsoever. I know because I paid $3,995 for just FIVE referrals and when I changed my mind the next day before they provided me with any service whatsoever, they refused to let me void the contract, and no cooling off rule applied because I signed it at THEIR location (after a SIX hour grueling interview). Legally it was binding. They are very greedy, ruthless, heartless and unethical. Do NOT be fooled!

You may luck out and find your mate using them as only a very few have done, but why support those types of unethical business practices and pay such an insane amount of money? They even charge you $500 or more to hold your contract open so they wont cancel you if you dont meet your next referral within THEIR limited timeframe. That means basically you have to pay them MORE to NOT cancel you without a refund, if you want to date someone while you have referrals left you havent met. Believe me, you can find what you are looking for, for MUCH much less money and aggravation!

They're not alone. I paid $5,500 only to find out that some of the girls paid about 1/5 as much for the same number of matches. I've had three dates with three overweight women, one of which was not interested because I lived to far away. I'm guessing they didn't tell her where I was from until I called. We still went on a date but it was clear that she had zero intention of ever making the trip to my city.

I asked for no single mothers. Single mom's I've dated before and they all want to rush a marriage or they make it perfectly clear that you're #2 (or #3 or #4) in their life. I requested that they match me with girls that had no children and said I MIGHT consider matches with ONE child. I received two matches with more than one child, both of which I rejected. One of these (2 kids) was recycled and offered to me again.

Again, I'm not looking for Barbie, and in fact I would rather not be set up with a model (not that models have to use their service anyway)... but c'mon - if I run and try to stay in the best shape I can, why do they insist on hooking me up with overweight women.
