Norton Anti-virus 2004 - I purchased this product in June, 2004. It worked well until August. When I attempted to run a virus scan I got an error message saying that some of the files were corrupted or missing.

I purchased this product in June, 2004. It worked well until August. When I attempted to run a virus scan I got an error message saying that some of the files were corrupted or missing.

 

According to the instructions on Symantec's website, I was to delete all the Norton files and re-download the software. I deleted the files, but when I went to download the software the site wouldn't recognize my order number or my e-mail address and password.

 

I have both hard and electronic copies of my receipt. I am not making any mistakes. I have been going round-and-round with them for over a week. "Tech Support" sends me to "Online Store," "Online Store" sends me back to "Tech Support."

 

And anything I get back that remotely resembles a problem

solution doesn't even address what I wrote about.
