2000 grand am - 69,000 miles on it the plastic piece to the regulator broke

ti have a 2000 grand am with only 69,000 miles on it the plastic piece to the regulator broke and guess what u can only buy it thru pontiac and its cost like 240 dollars i dont think thats right a 5 cent part and u have to buy the whole damn thing can somebody tell me where i can go to gripe at pontiac
