I purchased a bedroom set from Levitz in February 2001. Until this day i have never rendered a complaint but on September 28, 2004 I called up the insurance company. since i had purchased a 7 year insurance for the furniture and asked them if they could send someone to my home to fix a problem that i was having with the frame.
they rudely told me now and told me that the complaint had already been reported (not by me) and my complaint was denied. And until I have the original problem fixed I can't receive any repairs through them.
First of all I don't think I should have to pay extra money on top of the original insurance that I purchased. Second when I asked for the manager she told me no. Third I requested her name and she mocked me and ridiculed the way I was speaking. I do not appreciate the way she spoke to me and I think she could have handled the matter more professionally.
Customers spend a lot of time, effort and money in investing on furniture and this is the way they are going to get treated. This is outrageous. I am extremely upset and all I wanted for them to replace was three small poles that hold up the frame to my bed.
