Dear Sirs,
This email is the lodge the following complaint with your bank and seek suitable redressal.
On or around the 20th of August, Mr. Vishal G contacted self and offer to provide a Gold card on behalf of SC Bank. This card, he promised, will have the following features;
aa) Gold card, FREE FOR LIFE, for both self and spouse (Add-on card).
bb) Will carry a credit limit at least equal to my Annual Insurance payout, if not double that amount.
The requirement was that I make a balance transfer BT of INR 5000+. As at that time the offer appealed to me. I advised Mr. Vishal to contact me on the 7th of Sept. when the next Statement from my ABN card was due.
Mr. Vishal contacted me on the 8th and I handed over all duly filled docs to him INCLUDING the copies of LIC premiums worth about INR 70000. I also requested him to expedite matters as the last date for my ABN payment was 24th of September.
Even after repeated phone calls - at 2 every day, starting from the 7 days preceding 24th, Mr. Vishal, against his promises was not able to get the BT chq. organized.
Out of Sheer frustration, I called up his office to be told that the application was put-in only on the 16th and it was impossible to get the chq. on or before the 30th of this month.
To add insult to injury, I have today received both the Gold cards with a combined limit of INR 15000 only.
THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.
Following are my greviances which I request your office to seek and redress as soon as possible.
aa) Lackadaisical and careless approach of Mr. Vishal Gupta. A typical case of poor integrity coated with lies and deceit. I suggest strict action be taken against him for fooling a genuine customer. His contact details are hereunder

bb) I have no further use of the BT chq as I have already made the 10500 rs payment to ABN amro bank to avoid finance charges. Please do the needful.
cc) Written communication from your side that BOTH the cards are FREE for LIFE. I my position and having faced such deceit, I am sure you understand my position.
Sirs, I pains me to see such a performance from a representative of a credible bank like yours. My father, Mr. Umesh Seth, NLE, United Nations has maintained a SCB classic card for the past 5 yrs with a credit Limit of INR 125000, an add-on of which I share and enjoy till date. With such a prolonged customer, I did not expect such poor treatment.
I eagerly await you views and corrective actions.
