Gateway computers are nothing but useless pieced together leftovers that don't work,,plus the programs they install at factory are spyware and Windows ME is total GARBAGE which should be outlawed,,

Gateway installed that porogram knowing that it wouldn't work and then there's the question of trying to Defragg the computer which you couldn't do if you had Norton 2003 Complete Works,, it seems the 2 aren't compatible,,I got feed up with trying to get help from Gateway so I took it to a repair shop in my area,,

I purchased the computer in 2001 and it was nothing but problems from day one,,it seems that my Norton allowed 2 Viruses thru then my Windows ME was the other problem,,together they both allowed over 580 Spyware progrms,,

I now have Windows XP Home Edition,,anyone thinking about purchasing a Gateway i'd rethink that because you'll have nothing but problems and no support unless you want to rebox the computer and pay for shipping and that would probably be once a month,,I now see why so many Gateway stores have closed down,,i'll never purchase Gateway again.
