2000 Kia Sportage - I got this car on 8/21 from Team pontiac of union city GA. I did buy it as is and I did get the extended warrenty. Next thing I know 27 days later, theres steam coming up into the car.

I got this car on 8/21 from Team pontiac of union city GA. I did buy it as is and I did get the extended warrenty. Next thing I know 27 days later, theres steam coming up into the car. I turned the car off, and let it sit. When I got back in, it would not turn over. I got it towed to a kia dealership, and they told me the heating core failed, and that it may have caused other daage. They contact the warrenty(western General) and they declined to pay due to the heating core was not coverd. They did want to pay for the other parts, even tho there covered . Said that they dont cover subseqant damage. I took it back to team Pontiac, and they checked it again. They also found that the on board computer was out. That was why it wouldnt start. But they wouldnt do anything for me either. You would think that a car should at least last 90 days. The cost to fix it is not even worth the time. I wouold never by another Kia, again. Live and learn!
