Company: A&E Auto Transport, Inc.

Location: DBA American Auto Moving 1654 NE 205th Terrace, North Miami, FL 33179

Category: Cars, Motorcycles, Boats, Vehicles

They took my deposit and promised a pick up date 5 or 6 days later. It has now been 15 days and they have not picked up the car. While I have called and faxed them daily (and more than once for the past week), they have returned my calls only twice.

They promise to call, but they don't. Then there are the stories: the truck is running a day late, but he’ll be there tomorrow; the truck is having mechanical problems, but he should be there this afternoon; the truck had hydraulic problems, but he'll pick it up in the morning; we're trying to get in touch with that driver.

Then I got a call from another company who had been sub-contracted by the DRIVER while he was on the road. The new company offered to transport the car to a city a hundred miles away from the destination quoted by A & E and at a $100 increase in price! The truth is that Duluth is a little bit out of their way, and no matter what they promised when they quoted the price, the only schedule they are going to keep is the one that suits them. After two weeks A & E has admitted that they do not have a truck that will be servicing Duluth in the near future. They've said that,If you are in a hurry; they are the ones who are a week late on their promised pick-up date!! they will refund my deposit. How wonderful--- Brad L
