Chase Automotive Finance Complaint against Chase Automotive Finance, Garden City, New York. In May 2004, I vehicle loan with Chase expired and I attempted to refinance and continue with Chase's service. Thankful, Chase lost my refinancing paperwork and I decided to go with my local credit union. I paid my vehicle off in full to Chase in late-May 2004. It is now late-September and I continue to battle with Chase to complete the transaction.
First, Chase sent the title to me instead of the credit union. That was easy enough to handle. Then Chase sent me a check made payable to the wrong county to pay the sales tax. I returned the check as instructed and it was mysteriously lost like all the other paperwork I have mailed Chase (funny how my monthly lease payments never got lost).
Since it was August and still no correct refund check, my credit union paid the sales tax and got the title transfer. Now I continue to wait for my sales tax check from Chase. Every time I call I get the run around and told something different. I've even been told the the Customer Service VP Michael Scocozza doesn't have a direct line! Give me a break, I'm not stupid. If possible, never do business with Chase!!!! Sincerely- Disgruntled customer who will likely be getting a lawyer because I don't see my check coming anytime soon.
