I NOW UPDATED INFORMATION IN REGARDS TO MY DISGUST WITH THE COMPANY KNOWN AS C&D INSTALLERS OUT OF BEL AIR, MD. AFTER THE SECOND INSTALLATION OF THE POOL, THE SAME PROBLEMS SINKHOLES DEVELOPED IN THE BOTTOM OF THE POOL. ONCE AGAIN, I HAD TO DRAIN 11,000 GALLONS OF WATER OUT OF THE POOL AND THE AREA MANAGER SAID THAT HE WOULD PERSONALLY FIX THE PROBLEM. AGAIN, IAD TO DRAIN THE POOL THEN REFILL. I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED THE WATER BILL FOR THIRD REFILLING BUT I KNOW IT WILL BE SENT RIGHT TO C&D INSTALLERS.

I CONTRACTED C&D POOL INSTALLERS TO BUILD AN ABOVE GROUND POOL THAT I HAD PURCHASED. THE POOL WAS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED ON JULY 12, 2004.

AS THE POOL FILLED WITH WATER, SINK HOLES DEVELOPED AROUND THE LEG SUPPORTS OF THE POOL. I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THE COMPANY WITH THIS PROBLEM AND THEY SENT THE AREA MANAGER OUT TO EVALUATE THE PROBLEM.

THE MANAGER ADVISED ME THAT THE POOL HAD TO BE DRAINED IMMEDIATELY AND A CREW WOULD BE SENT TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. IASKED IF I WOULD BE RE-IMBURSED FOR THE ADDITIONAL EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THAT, HE SAID I WOULD BE. THESE EXPENSES INCLUDE WATER PUMP RENTAL, 3 50LB. BAGS OF SAND AND RE-FILLING THE POOL WITH 11,000 GALLONS OF WATER. I HAVE SENT COPIES FOR ALL OF THESE BILLS TO THE COMPANY'S OFFICE. I WAS TOLD THAT CHECKS ARE SENT OUT AT THE END OF THE MONTH. THIS WAS IN MID-AUGUST.

AS OF THIS DATE, I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED THE RE-IMBURSEMENT. I HAVE CALLED THE COMPANY 3 TIMES IN THE LAST WEEK. THE SECRETARY HAS TOLD ME THAT THE SUPERVISOR (CINDY) WILL CALL ME BACK. SHE HAS YET TO CALL ME AND WHEN I CALLED THIS MORNING, THEY REFUSED TO LET ME SPEAK WITH THE OWNER OR GIVE ME HIS NAME.

I AM ASKING FOR APPROXIMATELY $90 IN RE-IMBURSEMENT YET THE COMPANY REFUSES TO HONOR THIS. THE ONLY INFORMATION I HAVE IS THE NAME:C&D POOL INSTALLERS INC LOCATED IN MARYLAND AND THE PHONE NUMBER IS 1-800-818-2637. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP WITH THIS HEADACHE.

This complaint is over 3 years old, Mr Long ws paid his $ 90.00, and also received a new liner and also received a hard vermiculite bottom to stop his issues with his perticular pool design, we try to correct any issues in a timly fasion we took responsibilty for the problems and repaired them accordinly

This complaint was resolved over three years ago, Mike L. was paid his inital $ 90.00 plus was paid for another contractor to install a hard vermiculite bottom, we are sorry that this issue happenned to his perticular pool and worked to solve the problem in a timely fasion

The pool was installed with a sand base for the liner cusion, with the sub frame of this perticular pool, it had to be dug in the ground during installation to set the patio blocks to make it level, after the blocks are level the dirt has to be returned to the dug out area and compacted inside of the pool, as we all know that dirt will settle, we have all seen when your plumbing line has to replaced the dirt is piled up accross the trench 8 to 10 inchs high and a month later the dirt is sunk in the trench 2 to 3 inchs from settleing,With the pool installation you compact the earth and then cover with sand and then the pool is filled with 11000 gallons of water and this is the result of the situation, C&D Installers paid for the pool bottom to be done with a hard vermivulite type of pool base so this would not happen any more from a differerent contractor. at the time of this install this perticular pool was new to the installation market and, We the installers have to figure out the situations with these new products in the working world, we are upset that we had this situation and worked to rectufiy the situation in a timly matter to satisfy the customer.

this complaint was taken care of over 3 years ago ,and is misleading, Mike L. was reimbured for his inital expences of the $ 90.00 plus he was paid for another contractor to replace the liner in his pool and redo the pool bottom with a hard vermiculite base,
