Chase Manhattan Credit Card Services - I receive statement and mail check to institution on same day in July – July 7th. I receive my next statement Aug 7 and it states I am overdue and they have not received payment. Hmm, look it up – not cashed yet all other checks sent out that day are. Hmm.

Chase Manhattan Credit Card Services, I receive statement and mail check to institution on same day in July – July 7th. I receive my next statement Aug 7 and it states I am overdue and they have not received payment. Hmm, look it up – not cashed yet all other checks sent out that day are. Hmm. Send 2cnd Check for 200 on Aug 17th – Statement due date is Sept 7th, Check not cashed until Sept 17th – Yet all other checks mailed on that day were cashed within 6 business days. 30 days to receive and cash a check? How can this be the post office? Of course now I have been late twice on an account I have never been late on before and this allows them to bump up my interest rate. Worse of all –I get into work this morning and they called my place of employment to contact me – yet I have not received a late notice nor have I received any calls at my home.
