SUPRATELECOM - I made a payment of $50 from my debit card. They ended up deducting it twice from my checking account. And they only showed on record (1) payment.

Well, I made a payment of $50 from my debit card. They ended up deducting it twice from my checking account. And they only showed on record (1) payment. I called and they said they needed proof of the error. So, I had to fax them my bank statement three times and I circled where the error was, so they could see it easily and clearly.
Well 1. They barely speak english 2. You will never speak to the same person twice 3. They do not have a accounting dept and it cost so much trouble to speak to a "supervisor" and 4. THEY ARE NOT IN THE U.S.A. THEIR OFFICES ARE OVERSEAS. THEY ARE IN SOUTH AFRICA, COSTA RICA AND SANTO DOMINGO. Can you believe it???!!! I almost fell off my chair.
Everytime I called to checked to see if someone has received my fax, I could not get a clear answer. They kept telling me that the accounting department was not in yet and I could not get a telephone number to speak to them directly and have no voice mail!!!
After my final attempt they said they did get it and they needed my debit card info (which i did not feel comfortable giving someone overseas my info) but i had to in order to straighten out this mess. They finally did credit my account! Supra sucks, but they are cheap. You will get what you pay for. I do plan on changing my local phone service very soon!!!
