I would like to share my recent (horrid) experience with Maximum Cleaning Services, serving New Jersey.

 

My husband and I have just purchased a home. As we both work full time and were moving in the day after our closing date, I arranged for a cleaning service for the morning of our move-in, to ensure the home would be ready for our arrival. Still unfamiliar to the area, I did the best research I could and concluded with Maximum Cleaning Services (http://www.maximumcleaningservices.com) , as they seemed quite reputable, were licenced/bonded/insured and came with the following guarantee (as posted on their website):

 

"The Maximum cleaning guarantees your complete satisfaction. Your business is important to us and we want to make sure you are happy every time we clean your home or offices. If we didn't clean something to your satisfaction, contact us and we will re-clean it FREE." I made arrangements to leave payment in the form of a check and the back door open, as the house was totally empty, thus even easier to clean. I was assured that anything not up to standard would be recleaned free of charge, but that Rita (cleaning crew mgr) would call me about 1/2 hr prior to finishing to check in. Rita never called me. Upon our arrival, I inspected the home in a quick walk-through and found a few areas that looked untouched by any cleaning crew. Too concerned (and busy) at the moment to call, I waited until the next day to call after I had also made a complete assesment of the job. Upon further inspection, the job was not up to par: the top of the refriegerator was cleaned only halfway, it seemed every other cabinet still had crumbs and/or rings, baseboards were missed, etc. When I called and spoke with Rob (who I had also made the appointment with) and explained that Rita never called and the job not to my satisfaction. Rob told me that he would have Rita call me that afternoon and she never did. In the meantime, our basement started a small flood, which I considered totally unrelated.

 

The next day, I had not received a call from Rita and the flood worsened, prompting our call to a plumber. The third day, there was still no call from Rita and the plumbing problem turned out to be a major clog in a main pipe. The cause of said pipe was a wad of paper towels, some still white and new. The plumber said that the paper towels had to have been flushed down the toilet(s) within the past few days. As the house was vacant prior to our arrival, it was obvious that the little cleaning Maxium's crew did was greatly incompetent, even in it's disposal tactics. I placed another call to Rob and received his voicemail, at which point I mentioned the recent plumbing fiasco and reminded him of his customer service policy. The next day, after still no call from Rob, my husband cancelled the check immediately and left a message at Maximum explaining why. While we are still out a great sum of money for te plumber's services, I am glad we cancelled the check to Maximum. Three weeks have passed and I have not only still NOT received a call from Maximum, but just this past week, they attempted to cash our check. Nice try! PLEASE AVOID MAXIMUM CLEANING SERVICES FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!!!! http://www.maximum.com

I also have a Maximum Cleaning Services company in NJ... but licensenced to operated only in Ocean County... and once again, the complaint was not towards my company... for anyone who has questions :-)

I am the owner of maximumcleanig.com from NJ. You have posted a complaint about maximumcleaningservices.com from California and in your complaint says maximum cleaning from NJ if you want to hurt the bed guys please correct your complaint to point to the right business name. you are hurting the wrong business.
