They said they could fix it for $80.00 and I agreed to let them. I picked it up and it was lopsided and the six prongs had been shortened. It looked terrible.

I brought in a 1.67 carat platinum wedding ring that had one prong bent to be fixed to this jeweler. They said they could fix it for $80.00 and I agreed to let them. I picked it up and it was lopsided and the six prongs had been shortened. It looked terrible.

They explained that it was because the whole setting was bad when I brought it in and said they could replace it all for another $260.00. I told them they should have told me this information before they touched the ring because I would have taken it back to my jeweler had there been anything but a bent prong that needed to be fixed since he would have done it for free since we only had the ring set less than two months before.

They demanded I pay them the $80.00 before they would give me the ring so I paid them. I took the ring to my jeweler who said they destroyed the entire setting and chipped the 1.67 diamond. It will now have to be recut and I will lose a point or two.

Further, the entire 6 prong setting must be replaced as they shortened it so much the ring doesn't fit securely and is about to fall out. My jeweler would have fixed the ring for free before they ruined it but now has to charge me $460.00.

NOBODY SHOULD EVER GO TO THIS JEWELER!

Hey dumbass why not take it to the original jeweler to begin with?..how stupid can you be? Come on you tried to get it fixed cheap they ruined it so you then take it to the original jeweler and he says it will cost more to fix and you'll be left with a smaller diamond and you want to blame the other jeweler for your f-up..can you say stoopid? btw I know it's stupid I'm making fun of you!! dumbshit!
