I ordered a phone online from Liberty wireless on Sept 9th, 2004, the money was debited from my account on Sept 13th. It took me 3 weeks to receive my phone, then after several attempts with customer service and attempting to activate the phone, the only message I could get when I tried to dial out was that my account could not be validated. After spending a week waiting for service I finally decided to just ship my phone back and get a refund. Liberty wireless is very poorly ran. They have no phone line or phone number to contact anyone in any other departments as shipping or tech support. The story I get is they communicate through email so once they have escalated your concern to the proper department, there is nothing to do but wait, and wait, and wait.

 

Nothing gets fixed, nothing gets answered and after several requests to speak with a supervisor I finally got one who was still not able to PERSONALLY contact anyone about my problem, his suggestion was to wait another 24 to 48 hours after I had already been waiting a week for service on a phone that I already had to wait three weeks to receive.

 

One of the reasons I was given for the delay in shipping my phone is that the technicians are "checking" and "double checking" my phone for quality and accuracy so my phone will work when I receive it.

 

The people who answer the phones at liberty must have a script in front of them because they all say the same thing no matter what the issue is. We are sorry for the inconvenience, rest assured we are handling the problem, or my favorite, we have escalated your concerns to the proper department, please call back in 24 hours.
