SBC SBC FOR SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN FOR THE THIRD TIME THIS YEAR SBC HAS OVERBILLED US, GIVEN US A CREDIT THEN REVOKED THE CREDIT. THE BILLING DEPARTMENT CANNOT TELL US WHY. WE OPEN UP A CLAIM INVESTIGATION, WHICH IS NEVER INVESTIGATED. WITH THE CURRENT ISSUE, WE RECEIVED A SHUT OFF NOTICE BEFORE THE BILL ARRIVED SHOWING THE REVOKED CREDIT. SINCE THEN I HAVE SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE.
NO ONE THERE HAS LOOKED INTO IT. I AM CONTANTLY GETTING CALLS FROM THE CREDIT DEPARTMENT WHO WILL DO NO MORE THAT TRANSFER ME TO THE BILLING DEPARTMENT WHO TRANSFERS ME TO CETREX, WHOEVER THAT MAY BE AND BACK TO BILLING. THIS PERTICULAR CLAIM WAS OPENED ON AUGUST 30, I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES SINCE THEN AND WAS TOLD THEY ARE REQUIRED TO RESOLVE THE CLAIM BY SEPTEMBER 17TH AND ARE ALSO REQUIRED TO CALL ME BACK BY THAT DATE. I WARND THEM THAT IN THE PAST THEY ARE NOT EQUIPED TO HANDLE CLAIMS SO THEY PUT THEM ASIDE AND WAIT TILL THEY DROP OUT OF THE SYSTEM. IT IS NOW OCTOBER 6TH WITHOUT ANOTHER WORD FROM THEM ABOUT MY DISPUTE, I AM GIVING YOU AN UPDATE AS I AM ON THE PHONE WITH THEM AT THIS MOMENT AFTER RECEIVG YET ANOTHER COLLECTION CALL: TODAY IS OCTOBER 6TH. I AM ON HOLD BY THE CREDIT DEPARTMENT FOR 13 MINUTES AT THE MOMENT, BECAUSE THEY ARE TRYING TO TRANSFER ME TO BILLING. ACCORDING TO THEM ALL THEY CAN DO IS CALL ABOUT PAST DUE AMOUNTS. THEY ONLY SHOW THAT WE ARE PAST DUE, ALTHOUGH I SENT A COPY OF MY CLAIM INFO ALONG WITH MY LAST PAYMENT AND WAS PROMISED THAT A CLAIM WOULD KEEP ME OUT OF COLLECTIONS I AM STILL RECEIVING SHUT OFF NOTICES FOR THIS AMOUNT IN DISPUTE. AFTER 20 MINUTES I AM ON THE PHONE AFTER BIENG TRANSFERRED TO SALES. THEY SAID ALL THEY CAN DO IS FILE ANOTHER DISPUTE BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT LONGER FIND THE OLD ONE. IT IS NOW 25 MINUTES ON THE PHONE AND SALES CONTACTED BILLING. THEY CANNOT FIND MY DISPUTE. AS I WARNED THEM, IF I DID NOT RECEIVE A RETURN PHONE CALL AND THE DISPUTE WAS NOT SETTLED THE DISPUTE WOULD DROP OUT OF THE SYSTEM AND IT DID. SALES RE-ENETERED IT AND IS NOW TRANSFERING ME TO BILLING. I AM NOW ON THE PHONE WITH BILING IT IS 32 MINUTES INTO MY BUSINESS DAY. THEY HAVE TO PUT ME ON HOLD AND SEE WHAT IS GOING ON. AFTER 40 MINUTES ON THE PHONE I AM TOLD THE CLAIM IS RESOLVED AND THEY NEGLETED TO FINALIZE IT. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT I GUESS IS THAT THEY KNOW MY HANDS ARE TIED. THEY ARE SBC THERE IS NOT MUCH COMPETITION IN THIS AREA. I WILL LEAVE MY COMPLAINT AT THIS UNTIL MY NEXT BILLING ERROR. SINCERELY, LORI M G Lori G
