This business is located in Irvin, CA and you can order body kits and automotive merchandise on line. We ordered a body kit for $550 and paid $150 to have it shipped. We live in VA. The front and rear of the kit were in good shape; however, the side skirts looked like they had been sitting in a desert for years.

 

They were cracked and had holes in them. Before having them prepped and installed, they needed to be repaired and the estimated cost was $300 - over and above the normal prep work they tell you they may need! The front and rear did not require this extra repair cost. They were in fine condition. Due to this comparison, it was plain to see that the side skirts were clearly defective. I emailed and called the company and sent pictures and requested new side skirts because they were defective. The "customer service" rep said that she didn't think they were defective. Well, that's it. Her words - they're not defective. I guess I should just have said, well, you're right - they're really not defective....I'm an idiot, my husband is an idiot, my son is an idiot and the body shop owner/manager and workers are all idiots since we all saw them first hand and agreed they were defective. After a lot of run around, she finally said that she would send us new side skirts, but that we had to pay for the shipping.

 

Now, if she's saying they're not defective, but will exchange them, it sounds like she is admitting they need to be exchanged, but they just don't want to pay to have them shipped. How lovely. We already paid for shipping, but now due to THEIR error, we will have to pay to have the defective merchandise shipped back so that we can receive what we should have received in the first place! It's ridiculous.

 

They may ship you good product, they may ship you bad product, but if they ship you bad product, they will make YOU pay to make it right!
