714-546-7800 I signed up after viewing their web site and it claimed to be one of the best places for roommate matching via the Internet. They did no such service that proved what they said. When I signed up the site said that my matches would show up in about a week after giving the specs as to what I wanted in a roommate. After a week, I had one hit and that person didn't meet any of my standards. I called and they said that they would have more in another few days. I waited over two weeks and when I went to the site again, there was one additional match.

However, this person didn't match me since they were located in another city and they didn't meet what I was asking for rent. Again, I called and customer service said that someone would get in touch with me. No one did and I called again to speak to the owner and someone took a message. I never got a call from the owner and I never got more then those two matches. I decided to join another roommate match-finder and after clicking what I had for rent and what I would want for a roommate, I had over 100 matches; in less then 1 minute.

I wrote to Roommate Express and told them that I was not happy and told them that I had joined another service and that I wanted a refund. They said that they don't give refunds. I told them that they didn't follow through with their promise and that this was unethical and not right! I got a response that said they didn't give refunds. I wrote them back stating that I would be reporting them to you and other services that shed light on corrupt companies. I paid close to $40 for nothing but hassles! Please get these people off the net! Thank You,

I totally agree. So far I may have rec'd one match and it was not a match at all actually. Then a week or more went by, now it has been 3 weeks and I have not rec'd any more matches and don't get much help when I call the phone number. A man has said he will get back to me each time I have called and reached a live person. No one has called me back yet. This is quite frustrating and I may become homeless if I don't get a roommmate soon! I own my own home in Edmonds, WA and a very nice townhouse but for some bizarre reason, I am not getting any responses.

You must take Roommate Express off the internet. They are terrible!!
