Last Friday evening, October 1, 2004, I hydroplaned into a car in front of me while driving in medium to heavy rain. i was driving at approximately 20 miles an hour, due to heavy traffic and rainy weather and as I approached a red light tried to brake but only slid.

Last Friday evening, October 1, 2004, I hydroplaned into a car in front of me while driving in medium to heavy rain. i was driving at approximately 20 miles an hour, due to heavy traffic and rainy weather and as I approached a red light tried to brake but only slid.

This was the thrid "slidding" incuident I had in a months time. The next day I took my car to Discount Tire in The Colony, TX to have my tires properly inflated. I was told my tires did not have any tgrip left on them and the tread was worn beyond the wear mark.

My car is less than a year old and has under 15,000 miles on it. I spent 496.00 on all new wider, less low profile tires and will have to pay a 500.00 deductible to my insurance comepnay for the damage done to my car and the car I hit.

I don't believe it is fair, right or ethical for any new dealrship to sell a brand new car with such low performing equipment on it. I purchased an extended warrantee and have not heard anything from the dealership. Annie L
