Vandergriff Honda of Arlington Texas My complaint might sound picky but I have been in sales for 5 years and have never had to lie to a customer to sell anything. My main complaint with Vandergriff Honda is with a sales person named Wally. Wally and I had spoken on the phone three times and each time I got the same response. I was pre approved for a new Honda with no money down for up to 25,000 dollars.

I repeatedly questioned that on all three occasions. And he repeatedly confirmed it each time. Well we made an appointment and I took the day off of work and my family and I drove for an hour and a half. When we arrived I presented my pay information and Wally left for about 15 minutes. When he came back he said that I needed to trade my car in or pay tax title and license. I told him that wasn’t what we discussed on the phone and that Nissan had me approved for 600 dollars down. Then he stated that he could do it for 600 dollars down.

But if someone can’t be honest with me I won’t do business with them. It seems kind of silly for Vandergriff Honda to lose a 20,000 or 25,000 dollar sale over 600 dollars. I don’t know if the entire company is like that or just Wally. I know that 600 dollars is petty when buying a new car. It isn’t the money that stopped me it is the principle of it. If the salesman would lie over petty cash it makes you wonder what else he would lie about. Email Email User Thank You, Jimmy D Eric & Velda R
