http://www.nationalcity.com/personal/default.asp Complaint: National City charges $12.00 to make a payment (credit card, HELOC, Loan, Mortgage etc.) via telephone (no human interaction, all keypad). National City does NOT charge its customers to make a payment online.

National City RESTRICTS those who can sign-up online to those whom have a checking account with the bank, therefore, no checking account no online payment capability. I paid $12.00 to make at $50 payment via phone to avoid a $40, yes $40, dollar late fee (stupid me, I should have snail mailed it two weeks ago). This practice is usurious, predatory and unconscionable Ohio State banking and the USDT, OCC regulators should prohibit this practice. I am appalled at this type of business practice. I am a new customer and was NOT informed of this practice in advance.
