I purchased this multifunction device two months ago and it stopped printing last week. I purchased the machine through newegg.com, and they are willing to replace the unit with another one like it, but I do not want another Brother product. After searching on the 'net, I find that there are many complaints about Brother printers and myriad problems with the printheads on these machines.
I have searched my area for a Brother service center, but even using the 150+ mile search mode, none are listed. I have tried to contact Brother via internet, but their pages are unavailable and they are "very sorry for the inconvenience." While I have not been able to contact anyone with Brother, as I stated above, I do not want a replacement, I want a refund.
It appears that Brother has a long history of these problems and it's time they were called to account for their negligence and inattention to these matters. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
