Emerald Ink is a book publisher. In July of 2003, my husband and I gave the owner, Chris Carson, checks totalling $4500 and signed a contract for the publication of a genealogy book.

After months and months of run around and lies, we contacted the printer directly only to learn that Mr. Carson had NEVER sent the first 1/2 of the payment to them, much less the second half.

He told us lie after lie after lie as to why the book had not been printed yet.

Long story short..... he(Chris Carson) is a pathological liar and a thief. We won a small claims court judgement for the amount he stole from us plus interst.

To date, Chris Carson of Emerald Ink, Inc., Houston, Texas has not

1. paid the money back

2. responded to the law suit or the court

3. answered a BBB complaint

4. bothered to make any arrangements to pay us back what he took from us.

DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH EMERALD INK, INC. OF HOUSTON, TEXAS UNLESS YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE THE MONEY YOU ARE GIVING THEM.
