Olive Garden Olive Garden, Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock, Arkansas I read with much interest the complaint from the couple who say they can not learn because they keep giving Olive Garden another chance. My wife and I were the same way for awhile. When its properly prepared, the food is actually good, so we would discount our previous bad experience as just one of those things that happen. Well, I have not been in an Olive Garden in over three years and have no plans to return. Here is just a brief summary of some of our incidents each occurring on a different visit: 1) Was served a piece of chicken that was absolutely burned black on the bottom, but was still served to me as if I wasnt going to notice. 2) Waiter brought out our food and promptly disappeared for about 20 minutes. My wifes fettuccini alfredo had so little sauce that it was more like eating plain pasta, but the waiter never came back to see how everything was. Several guests at our table had run out of soda. After about 10 minutes I was going to go find our waiter, but my wife asked me not to make a scene. After 20 minutes everyone at the table agreed that we should make a scene. I went back into the employee area to see if I could find the waiter. A manager saw me and asked if I needed anything. After making a scene, the manager offered to bring out some more sauce, but by that time the whole entrée was cold. Fortunately, the manager was apologetic and took care of the situation to my satisfaction. 3) Reluctantly agreed to go to Olive Garden because friends were having their daughters birthday party there and I didnt want to decline simply because of the restaurant they chose. There were about 8 people in our party, and we all ordered at the same time, but about 3 people got their food first, and after about 10 more minutes, they brought out a couple more peoples meals.
One of the guests at our table received the wrong entrée but didnt want to have to wait for the correct one so she just ate what she was served. I had still not received my food after most everyone else had finished eating the waitress says that the cook had dropped it on the floor and they had to make it over again. We didnt have time to wait for it so she packed it to go and I had to try to eat it later on after being reheated in a microwave.
