Polaris ATV / Warranty

Camden Motorsports in Kingland, Georgia.

We purchased a 2003 Polaris 330 TrailBoss in May of 2003. We have not had the ATV for a year when it just quit running. We took it back to where we bought because it was under warranty.

They have now had the ATV for almost 7 months( WHILE WE CONTINUED TO MAKE THE PAYMENTS) telling us they are waiting on the warranty people to decide if they are going to pay. We paid $3,000.00 for the ATV and the estimate for repairs was $3,000.00.

They have finally called to advise that our ATV is ready to pick-up and our part not covered by the warranty is $1,500.00.

I called the warranty people and they stated that they paid for everything except for two part that came to right at $700.00 a cylinder and case. Camden Motorsports still has the ATV. Why should we pay this amount, it was less than a year old and the motor should have been covered by the warranty.

The complaint is that on a new ATV covered by a warranty should not cost me anything to be repaired. Why do you pay extra for the warranty when it is not worth the paper it is written on. This will be my first and last purchase of a Polaris product.

You cannot find numbers to call or ways to contact anyone with the Polaris company other than the dealerships and they do not have any information available to the public to make complaints about the product.

So, if you plan to purchase an ATV in the future I would strongly suggest that you buy another brand.
