Sterns & Foster/Mattresses

Dear Buyers, (Beware) My husband and I went to purchase a mattress and was told that Sterns and Foster brand mattresses were the top of the line. We purchased the first mattress from Mattress Express. What a nightmare. The first mattress cost $200000 we slept on it for 4 day and it had a hugh sink hole on one side and made my back hurt. We called the store and they told us in order to honor the warrantee they would have to send a investigator.

We waited with aching backs for two weeks, they never came. We decided to purchase another mattress and relieve our misery. So thinking the first mattress was just a defective mattress we brought another Sterns & Foster from Raymour & Flanigan for additional $1800.00 this one was worst than the first. So we ask to use the comfort guarantee and switch to yet another type, of course this took weeks for them to get the approval to make the switch.

However, the original purchase was delivered in 3 days??? This mattress also has a sink hole. Now back to the first purchase. The mattress inspector finally came and declared the first purchased mattress a" defected product". All this began on August 1, 2004 and now it is November 1, 2004 and we still have aching backs when we get up in the morning with the last mattress purchased from Raymour and & Flanigan.

The first is still sitting the garage waiting for pick-up. No one has gotten back to us about a pick-up date for the defective mattress after multiple phone calls and more then several conversations with the store managers. The bottom line is be very careful of what you purchase, high cost doesn't necessarily mean high quality. Signed, My Back is Still Aching. patricia l
